The report on the Gowers Review of IP which was released before Christmas has been widely praised, even if some of us in the IP community have nitpicked about one or two issues. The report is very well written. It neatly sets out the importance of IP to the UK economy, many of the issues facing the IP system right now and, of course, proposals for action to improve the status quo.
